About Venango Technology Center Practical Nursing Program
Venango Technology Center's Practical Nursing Program is a high quality Practical Nursing Program located in Oil City, PA and Warren, PA. Students who enter the program must be at least 18 years of age (prior to December) and have attained a high school diploma (or its equivalent). Certain admission requirements must be met. The Practical Nursing program is a fast-paced career option. The program is hybrid in order to create a "workable" lifestyle for students attending. Students attend 3-4 days each week. Students who enroll will have "A career in a year"! Students receive 50% classroom and 50% clinical experience. Clinical experience is offered at our local healthcare agencies. Students who previously attended college and possess at least a 2.2 GPA and 30 credits of college work do not have to complete the pre-entrance exam!
