About NHLA, Inspector Training School
Primary Industry: Agriculture, Food & Natural Resource
We are a national trade organization for the hardwood lumber industry, housing the only training facility in the U.S. for Hardwood Lumber Inspectors. Many of our industry members have hardwood businesses in PA, as this area has a higher concentration of hardwoods. One of our National Inspectors on staff, resides in Tionesta, PA and would be available for presentation at a Career Fair, or Career Day, if allowed. Our training facility is located in Memphis, TN; however 99% of our students travel from other regions to receive the training. We also hold workshops and short courses in PA throughout the year, at various hardwood company locations.
