About Erie Playhouse
The Erie Playhouse, founded in 1916, is the third oldest community theatre in the country and the busiest in the state. Our mission is to enrich the greater Erie region by providing life-long opportunities to participate in quality theatrical productions as artists, audience members and advocates.
Our Youtheatre and Education Program is well known for its training of young people ages 5 to 18 in the skills necessary for both the stage and life. The Playhouse staff is ready to share live theatre with you through productions, internships, job shadowing, classes, camp, and career days.
