Experience Details
Job Shadows are a great way for students to get first-hand observation of a career they wish to explore. At Penn Highlands Healthcare, our nurses, providers,and staff within our eight hospitals are always more than happy to share their experiences with students while showing them their daily tasks.
Students may explore our website to find the wide variety of locations, practices, and services we operate and offer to narrow down where they wish to job shadow. Job shadows range from half a day (4 hours) to a full day (8 hours).
*Note: Some departments may be off limits to high school students. Please inquire for a list.*
Experience Requirements
Age: 16 and older.
Medical: Masks required.
Signed Confidentiality forms (parents signature required for students under the age of 18).
