Experience Details
A guided tour of Monacella Massage & Kinesiology located in the historic Renaissance Centre in downtown Erie, PA. Students will see the massage session rooms, supply room, lobby, breakroom & office. We have the ability to meet in the Radius Co-Working Space Conference Room for a brief presentation followed by a Q&A session with a massage therapist. Students will learn about massage therapy as a full-time career or part-time position. Massage therapy can be relaxational (spa), medical (chiropractor office) or a mixture of both in an independent setting like ours.
Massage Therapists are licensed by the state, so prospects must obtain education (e.g. Great Lakes Institute of Technology) and pass the written board exam.

No requirements to learn more about this career.
To enter the career one must have a valid PA Massage Therapy License, which requires graduating from an accredited massage therapy program, valid CPR certification and general practice liability insurance.
