Job Shadow at Burton Funeral Home

Several different experiences offered:

Funeral Service Shadow - spend the day as a funeral service professional - depending on the daily schedule - may work planning a funeral, helping set up for visitation hours, greeting guests at the door, or working a funeral. May involve some lifting and working around deceased individuals. Professional dress required - dark suit and white shirt.

Administrative Support - spend a morning working in the office, computer entry, answering phones, paperwork preparation, and filing.

Monument Production - see how cemetery memorials are produced and placed at the cemetery.
