Duties:
- Work directly with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Behavior Consultant
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies is preferred
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care and support
- Proficient in data collection and record keeping
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families
