Experience Details
Each year, Music Director and Conductor Daniel Meyer visits local schools to provide an interactive and engaging presentation about music and the orchestra. He discusses the various families of instruments and how they all work together to create beautiful music. He discusses the role of the conductor and gets the students involved by teaching them the basics of conducting, and allowing them to practice leading their classmates in simple musical exercises. The program can be adapted to various age groups.
