Students and faculty come together on the second floor Pierre McCormick Cyber Learning Center to use industry-standard technology and systems-thinking approaches to solve problems facing a wide variety of today's industries. Experience high-tech labs to build skills in IoT research and development as well as simulated cyber-attack assessment and defense.
The collaborative third floor Hatchery space integrates industry and professional development with academic creativity and learning to bring new ideas to life. This innovative floor offers 3D printers, laser scanners and soldering tools for rapid prototyping, geospatial mapping and a super-computing facility, workforce training and development, and student internship and employment opportunities.
The upcoming sixth floor holds Gannon's high-tech and versatile Center for Manufacturing and Technology Makerspace. Construction is expected to be complete on I-HACK's sixth floor in Fall 2023 to create Gannon's Makerspace for students and businesses to access fabrication and additive manufacturing equipment for wood, metal and plastic materials.
