We are the Roofers Local Union 210 and offer a Joint Apprentice Training Program (JATC). We do work in the commercial roofing industry and have an apprenticeship program that allows us to train them as they earn a great pay. It is what we call EARN while you LEARN. The apprentices start off at a wage that is 55% ($17.62/hr) of the Journeyman worker and they must complete 3 years of our schooling and a total of 4500 hours of On-the-Job training. This makes them a valuable asset to the Signatory contractors of Union. They receive training on all various aspects of the roofing industry. They receive specialized Safety Training such as; OSHA 10 & 30, ICRA (Infectious Control required by most hospitals), 1st Aid/CPR, Asbestos Supervisor/Handler Certifications, Fall Protection, CERTA (Certified Roofing Torch Applicator), Forklift, Aerial Lift, Crane Rigging & Signaling, and many more. We also offer Journeyman upgrading and Manufacturing Certifications free of charge to our members. Wages as a Journeyperson Roofers you will see $32.03/hr in your check and an additional $17.18/hr in Benefits for a TOTAL PACKAGE of $49.21/hr.
