About Presque Isle Downs & Casino
Presque Isle Downs & Casino operates a facility consisting of a gaming floor housing slot machines, table games, sportsbook, and a poker room. Three bars are also located on the gaming floor. Primary dining options include casual dining in the Backstretch Buffet and The INCafe, fine dining in LBV Steakhouse, and the Churchill Bourbon and Brew restaurant, bar, and entertainment outlet. Our thoroughbred horse racing facility consists of a one-mile racetrack, grandstands, paddock, barns, and related facilities including indoor and outdoor seating for racing patrons who enjoy both live racing and simulcast racing. Casual food and beverage outlets are located outside and are open during the 100 day live racing season between May and September each year.
Presque Isle Downs & Casino opened its doors in February, 2007 and is one of the 12 properties in 9 states that are part of Churchill Downs Incorporated. This 24/7 operation employes approximately 1,000 team members during the live racing season and approximately 800 during the off season. Our team member base is very diverse and spans over 20 departments and more than 200 job positions.
