Experience Details

The purpose of Camp Cadet is to instill self-discipline, self-respect, and self-esteem while teaching paramilitary discipline and courtesy. Cadets participate in a wide variety of instructional sessions including radar, fingerprinting, forensics, drug prevention, building searches, and emergency response. Activities include an obstacle course and platoon competitions with an emphasis on physical fitness and teamwork.

Experience Requirements

Troop E Camp Cadet program registration will open February 1st and run through March 31st, 2019 at Held at Allegheny College in Meadville, this year’s dates are June 16-21, 2019.

Camp Cadet is a week-long camp for youth ages 13-15. Staffed 24 hours per day by state troopers, it is open to all Erie, Crawford, Warren, and Venango County youth.
