Experience Details

This event was created to help high school students develop a deeper understanding of the various branches of federal, state and local government, careers within government, and volunteer civic engagement.
It is a day long field trip that will include several presentations, and visits to the county and federal court houses and city hall. The symposium will be based at Gannon University's Yehl Ballroom where students will hear from introductory speakers before visiting other locations to hear from local, state and federal government officials.

Experience Requirements

The opportunity is open to senior high school students. Schools are limited to 15 students for this event and reservations are on a first come, first-served basis. RSVPs are being accepted and slots will be confirmed via email as long as space is available. Once your school's attendance has been confirmed via email, you must utilize this system to be eligible for transportation reimbursement.
