About Independent Electrical Contractors of Northwest Pennsylvania

IEC is a nonprofit trade association federation with 52 educational campuses and affiliate IEC local chapters nationwide.
IEC represents over 3,500 member businesses throughout the United States and educates over
13,500 electrical and systems professional each year through its world class training programs.

IEC NWPA currently has 17 member contractors in Erie, Crawford and Warren counties. We are a DOL registered Electrical Apprenticeship Program. As an IEC electrical apprentice, apprentices earn a great wage while working on exciting projects.
IEC’s program is recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Apprenticeship & Training, making it an approved
program with nationwide credentials. with a contracting company during the day and enhancing your on-the-job learning with IEC instruction in the classroom and online.
